| February 2006 | Jo-Anne heads down to New Orleans for two weeks to help with the ongoing cat and dog rescue efforts. Working with Utah-based animal sanctuary Best Friends (www.bestfriends.org), Jo-Anne spends two intense weeks looking after dogs and documenting the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

| August 2005 | Jo-Anne's animal rights work and photography are featured in Canadian Living Magazine (Sept '05 issue). The article discusses her documentary project "We Animals", as well as her fundraising for not-for-profit groups such as Farm Sanctuary, the Jane Goodall Institute and the Animal India Trust.
