May 2008 Visit Jo-Anne's most recent group exhibit at Reportage Studio, opening night May 1st, 7-10pm.

March 2008 Jo-Anne has been awarded an arts grant from the Culture and Animals Foundation. Many thanks go out to the organization for supporting her documentary work "We Animals."

In this interview with Lauren Corman in studio (CIUT 89.5FM), Jo-Anne discusses her photodocumentary work in Canada and abroad, the development of her expository style, and how she uses her camera "to tell the stories of animals and people in the most dire to most joyful situations."

May 2006Jo-Anne's animal rights work is featured on the Farm Sanctuary web site.

February 2006Jo-Anne heads down to New Orleans for two weeks to help with the ongoing cat and dog rescue efforts. Working with Utah-based animal sanctuary Best Friends (www.bestfriends.org), Jo-Anne spends two intense weeks looking after dogs and documenting the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.

August 2005Jo-Anne's animal rights work and photography are featured in Canadian Living Magazine (Sept '05 issue). The article discusses her documentary project "We Animals", as well as her fundraising for not-for-profit groups such as Farm Sanctuary, the Jane Goodall Institute and the Animal India Trust.
